It’s been two years since the release of The Equalizer 2, and fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting news on the third installment of this thrilling action-packed series.
- The film is the fifth collaboration between Washington and Fuqua, following Training Day (2001), The Equalizer (2014), The Magnificent Seven (2016), and The Equalizer 2 (2018).
- The film is set to be released on September 1, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
Fortunately, they don’t have to wait much longer. Sony Pictures is preparing to bring back Denzel Washington as Robert McCall in The Equalizer 3! Antoine Fuqua, who has directed every Equalizer film to date, will return to direct the third installment.
The Equalizer 3 team have also recruited a few new faces for the film. Joining Washington and Fuqua will be Dakota Fanning and David Denman.
It’s been four years since Denzel Washington graced our screens as Robert McCall in The Equalizer 2 and fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of The Equalizer 3.
