Makeup is an art that uplifts the beauty by enhancing the features. Marilyn Monroe once said, “If you are going to be two-faced, at least make one of them pretty.”
Some of the tips if incorporated into daily makeup routine then it is will not only give extra pop but also add confidence to the personality through enhanced beauty.
Apply skincare before makeup in thin layers
A skincare routine should never be skipped before applying everyday cosmetics. This includes vitamin C serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. This acts as the base for makeup and the products will settle and stay for long.
Never think to cocktail them, instead apply it in a thin layer. And give it at least a minute to get absorbed. Do not apply a bunch of products at once, they don’t absorb into the skin effectively. The product will set on top of the skin and lead to pilling.
Avoid using a Primer in daily makeup
Primer is used as the base for cosmetics. It is used to hold them and prevent creasing. Now, the question arises then why it should be avoided? Because the skincare routine acts as a base. Though it is applied in thin layers and feels super light, it acts as a glue and the makeup will stick and stay longer.
Use a Barrier Repair Stick
It is a must for a winter makeup routine. The barrier stick is the balm for the face. Those having dry (lacks oil) and dehydrated (lacks water) skin face the issue of cracks or lines on the skin after applying makeup. The makeup is creased in some areas. If you are among the ones then start using a barrier repair stick.
This is an emergency hydrator which helps the skin to retain the moisturizer. Use the stick in the dry areas before applying makeup. This ensures that makeup has extra moisturizer and it will not crack.
Mix Blush and Bronzer
Mixing blush and bronze gives a natural-looking makeup. Blush tint (which is a liquid formula) when mixed with bronzer gives shiny enhanced skin. Mix it on the back of your hand so that you will get the idea of how much pigment using. It is applied on the cheeks, nose, and eyelids area. It can be applied to the whole face especially if you have freckles.
Use Blush as a Color Corrector in everyday makeup
If in daily cosmetic routine more pigmented blush look is needed then apply the pink blush on top of cheeks right under the eye. This acts as a color corrector thus acting like a concealer.
The face looks naturally refreshed if applied face balm and blush in correct manner. Usually, we use blush at the apple of the cheeks but to avoid the extra need for color corrector under the eye, apply pink blush there.
Use Concealer at last
Do skin prep and then blush and bronze and afterwards go with concealer to perfect and brighten. Generally, concealer is the first step in makeup, however, shifting to the last step you will realize that it is used so much less. Instead of using it under the eyes and nose just use it to conceal the acne scars.
Highlight the Forehead
Highlighting the forehead is avoided but highlighting with a dewy highlighter at the sides, not at the middle will exfoliate the face. It will add dramatic glamour to your face.
