Passion: What Your Partner is Passionate About is Crucial

Being passionate about something gives great insight into the personality. The level of passion shows credibility, while the madness with which it is followed shows perseverance. During the first initial meetings with your partner, during small talks try to find what he/she is passionate about.

You must be passionate about certain things, like a specific genre of movies, books, cars, travel, art, music, etc. Ask them what they are passionate about, and if they can explain their passion. But do not just ask like it is an interview question; What is your passion? Explain Your Passion. It would freak them out. 

It does not matter where the passion lies, it can be in sports, cars, books, movies, cooking, travel, gym, etc. But one thing is expected that it provides huge and deep insights regarding a person’s personality. If you are passionate about say Harry Potter movies, you would have seen every movie multiple times, know every detail and easter eggs, and can win any trivia quiz based on that. 

So, how does this define or provide insights regarding personality? The simple answer is, passion can be considered an extreme level of love. If you love Harry Potter, you would watch the movies, like it, and forget about it. It would take you time to distinguish between the storylines of the sequels. 

But if you are passionate, it means you are madly in love with the movie series. Coming back to how it is a personality trait, it is a simple way to know if the person is capable enough to love someone more than anything. Passion may not be transformed or transpired into anything else. But the art of passion can build a great relationship. 

Also, if you are passionate about Harry Potter, you would like everything related to it—movies, books, merchandise, goodies, hoodies, etc. You would be eager to buy The Sword of Gryffindor or would have the same excitement to see any of the movies like it’s your first time. 

Imagine if somehow, You became your partner’s passion. The way she is passionate about everything related to the Harry Potter universe, she is passionate about everything related to your universe. She would have the same excitement watching you as she has to watch the movie for the millionth time. Wouldn’t that be a fantastic feeling? 

Learn about your partner’s passion, likes and dislikes, favorite music genre, etc. A person is more comfortable if he/she talks about what they like. It would not only help the person to open up but would also ease the tension. Every like and dislike tells a lot about the person. It could greatly impact the decision to move forward in the relationship.

Start slow, be patient, know your limits, talk slowly, listen more, and just go with the flow. I am not saying that this is a sure-shot method to know if the person is right. But it could lead to friendship, if not a relationship.  Let me remind you that there are several intricate layers of a relationship. Intricate to follow if you do not believe, and simple to follow otherwise.
